Kapoor & Sons 2016 is an Indian Bollywood Hindi romantic comedy drama film directed by Shakun Batra. The film stars an ensemble cast including Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan, and Alia Bhatt.

Estranged brothers Rahul and Arjun Kapoor are forced to return to their childhood home in Coonor when their 90-year-old grandfather wants to see them, then gets a heart attack. While living under one roof, family secrets unravel and misunderstandings are on the verge of turning into tragedy. Rahul (Fawad Khan) is a writer, who personifies the image of successful young man who appears to be the most mature person in the family. On the other hand, Arjun (Siddharth Malhotra) struggles to make it big like his brother and does an odd job of a bartender to earn his livelihood and is still to come of age. There they come to know about their Grandfather’s last wish – to have a family photograph with the title- ‘Kapoor and Sons since 1921.
